Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in
San Diego, CA
My path to becoming a therapist began out on the dusty trails of the High Sierra. As an outdoor backpacking guide in college, I received profound fulfillment from helping people overcome their emotional limitations to climb mountains and face their fears courageously. As the years passed, I found myself in graduate school, hoping to hone the gift of supporting others so that I could guide them through the rocky terrain of life.
After working for several years in not-for-profit clinical settings where the maximum of time I was able to spend with a client was 30 days, I decided to open a private practice to work with individuals on a deeper and more long-term level. I strive to show people it is possible to create healthy relationships and deal with stress in a positive way so that they can create lasting and profound change.
My goal is to provide high quality services that are mindfulness-based to help people heal on a holistic level. One of the things in life that brings me the greatest joy is helping others feel whole again - to reconnect the pieces of themselves that have gone neglected so that they can live fuller, more nourishing lives.
