Live Life Without The Anxiety

Mindful Anxiety Therapy

In these unprecedented times, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and anxious. Anxiety has a way of creeping up on you in many ways. It makes you feel nervous and filled with constant worry. It wakes you up in the middle of the night, causing you to replay your day and your conversations over and over again. It makes you lose your appetite or over-indulge on sweets, even when you’re not hungry. It causes you to dread nights out with friends or even just answering text messages. It can make you feel incapable, exhausted, and unable to live the life you want.

If Anxiety is Taking Over, You Might:

  • Feel easily overwhelmed

  • Find yourself crying over small things

  • Feel unmotivated to complete tasks at work or at home

  • Feel physically ill with headaches, muscle aches, and stomach problems

  • Have trouble sleeping and experience changes in your appetite

  • Feel on edge or that you can’t relax

  • Binge TV shows or scroll endlessly through your phone to get your mind off things

  • Have panic attacks and experience sweating, increased heart rate, and shortness of breath

  • Feel like your life is out of control and you don’t know what to do about it

In my sessions, I use mindfulness to allow you to feel your anxiety in safe way without feeling sucked in or overwhelmed by it. We may explore the way your body reacts to anxiety by doing body scans, deep breathing, meditations, or guided visualizations. Together, we will uncover the source of your anxiety and develop concrete steps and skills you can use to start taking your life back from its grips.

Through therapy, I will help you feel empowered, confident, and able to relax at the end of the day to truly give yourself the peace of mind you need.
